I have been reading many articls about Lyme Disease since my wife was diagnosed with the disease a month ago. She has probably had it for a long time but in that she has been on a high level of nutritionals the bodies immune system was probably capable of putting some control on the disease. It wasn't until a month ago she started running a fever of 104 that we got her into the hospital. She had many symptoms of various diseases which totally confused the Doctors on staff. She was run through a battery of tests for 9 days and finally one test indicated Lyme disease could be the problem. She was put on doxycycline which stops the growth of mycoplasma fermentens which it looks like is the strain of the disease now called lymes. It's developement by the US Government in conjunction with Canada and England was started in 1942. The U.S. patent 5,242,820 was issued Sept. 7, 1993. It was to be a biological warfare disease to result in cutting down the enemies structure. Other people had ideas and wanted it as a population control disease and tested it on various areas of the world.
